As one of the first group experimental works, we were tasked by our teacher to make a movie poster within the time frame of 2 hours, with the theme "Behind the Mask". We decided the genre of this poster to be drama-like, specifically taking reference and inspiration from the posters of K-Drama films/shows.

These films and shows tend to show the main two characters either at wits end with each other or staring longingly in the direction of one another. The colours depend on the overall tone of the film - for example, if it were more lighthearted, the poster's colours would be warmer and brighter, compared to if the film were more sad, then the colours would appear darker and dimmer.

We went out into the forum of our school and took a couple test photos in different locations before deciding on choosing a single one and then editing that to suit the final drama poster. The poster was edited in PicsArt, on an iPad. I personally preferred to use the experimental edited version, as I believe it would have looked more dynamic and interesting. But as a group we decided on the final version below. The colours are dim and mostly grey, showing that the film may have tragic undertones. We tried to choose the text's font and colour in a way that it didn't interfere with the main image, but was visible enough to be noticed. In the future for another project like this, we might come up with more poster versions and edit the photo in Photoshop, to have more creative freedom and possibilities.
