NEVA Studios (Team Name & Logo)

Our team consists of four people - Nicol Miron, Vanessa Isip, Antonia Iaroi and me. We've formed together to come up with a logo and name for how we would like to be presented. Out of the first initials of each of our names we decided upon "NEVA". From here, we then started to work on creating a logo. First, in Procreate we sketched out a couple ideas of what our logo might look like. We thought that depending on the style of our Film Task we might choose a certain "look".

Afterwards, we moved onto using Illustrator. This was the first time any of us had used a program like this, so it was a bit difficult to get the hang of. We spent around two hours trying to make a polished and professional version of our logo, but, almost out of exasperation from having worked in Illustrator, we opened MS Paint and drew a "joke" logo. Needless to say, we ended up liking it so much more than what we had spent those 2 hours on, and decided to use it as our final logo design. It's quite charming to look at, and we hope that it will suit the vibe of what we are to make in the future.

I've still included, though, screenshots of our attempted work in Illustrator. Even if this attempt did not prove to be used, it still taught us a lot with using vectors and more professional programs. Compared to the final version, this logo seems much too stiff and formal. I personally really prefer the one that we've used instead.
