We decided that for our filming locations we’d keep it fairly simple and constrained. Last year, working on the film opening, I learned that choosing a surplus of locations can end up hurting the filming process, as it became tedious and harder to organize according to our script and ideas. We became overwhelmed with the areas chosen, especially since they were fairly far apart in proximity. For convenience and for continuity’s sake, we agreed that a smaller area would be much more useful.

So, we chose and scouted three locations, all within walking distance of each other. To follow the script outline we have, the beginning remains fairly mundane. Our character exits their building, bringing the trash out with him, ready to pursue his day as per normal. We’ll film this outside my building, as the layout of the parking lot and bins is spacious and provides for an opening shot that establishes our setting.

In continuation, our character (shot in POV) will walk towards the bus stop, maybe taking a trip to our next location: a small road inbetween a couple buildings near the lake behind Iulius mall, in proximity to the area. From here, we’ll follow the path leading towards the lake, filming Eduard walking and talking to the camera.

We scouted these locations during the day, but we feel that for the actual music video, it might be more impactful to film during the evening, in the dark.
