Props, Equipment & Budget

Below we have a list of props, equipment and the budget we deemed necessary for our shoots. Since we plan on purposefully keeping our production somewhat low-budget, there isn’t much we need besides essentials. Most of the more symbolic or eye-catching features will be done in post, namely through the quick, erratic cuts and edits we plan to use and overlay throughout the MV. So, our prop list is fairly short.
Camera[s] (2, so that we can film from 2 angles at once, to save time)
We have two cameras, an older Kodak with 6.1MP, and a Sony with 20.1 MP. We want to switch between the two while filming, both for efficiency and for the contrast between quality. We’ll both film, switching between who uses which camera for further variety.
Rain jackets (incase it rains)
Fisheye lens (in order to film some very wide, distorted shots we will need fisheye lens that attach to our filming equipment)
Flashlight (phone flashlight might prove sufficient - we’ll bring an extra just in case, however)
For our music video, a budget wasn’t that necessary. We planned to use items we each already owned, contrasting the low-resolution, choppy feel we want to go for when filming. We were already in possession of a fish-eye lens that we can attach to our cameras, which we plan on using to film Eduard lip-syncing the chorus.
Therefore, our budget wasnt exceeded as there wasn't a need for one. We had all the necessary equipment beforehand.
